Tenure and Tech is a blog dedicated to helping those of us in higher education navigate the rapidly evolving area of Artificial Intelligence. The team behind the scenes of Tenure and Tech has spent numerous years in higher education. Our experience ranges from teaching, forming courses, and going down the path to tenure, all while trying to stay ahead of the curve of technology.
We are passionate (okay, maybe nerds) about AI and feel it holds great promise for not only us but our students, too. We wanted to develop a resource for fellow folks in higher ed where we share what we’ve learned about AI and ways we are hearing it’s helping our colleagues teach and our students learn.
Zack Ward, Ed.D.
Zack is currently an Assistant Professor of Healthcare Administration at the University of Southern Indiana. He’s the founder of Tenure and Tech and is a self-professed geek about many (mostly not uselful) things. He has extensive teaching experience in the online and face-to-face world of higher education, and is passionate about teaching the future leaders of healthcare.
JD Weagley, Ed.D.
JD is currently a Senior Instructional Designer at Purdue University, West Lafayette.
